SIDING ISSUES

The above picture shows a "Wafer Pop" in siding. This is unique to OSB products which are made of wafers of wood glued together. It occurs when one of the strand wafers has been folded in the manufacturing process and moisture enters the material, the folded wafer then expands (trying to unfold) and it "pops" through the face of the board.
